Support at home and in the community

These are the kinds of help people usually ask me for. If your week looks different, say so. I would rather hear the real routine.

Personal care

Showering, dressing, grooming, and the private tasks that are easier with a steady extra pair of hands. I follow the routine you already have, in your home.

Domestic assistance

Cleaning, laundry, meals, and the jobs that keep a house going. Useful on a property, and in town on a day when energy is short.

Community access and social support

Drives, markets, shops, events, and whatever you actually want to get to, from craft through to sport. I come along when getting out is the point of the support. I know the roads between Benarkin, Blackbutt, and Yarraman.

Mobility and manual handling

I am hoist-trained. If you use a hoist or a wheelchair, or you need help to move safely between bed, chair, and car, tell me what you use and how the transfer usually goes. I will follow that.

How the support is funded

I work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, and with people arranging aged care or other in-home support.

If your NDIS plan is managed by the NDIA, you may need a registered provider. Get in touch and I can help you see what your options are.

There is no price list on this site, as I am open to negotiation within reason. Get in touch to discuss what you need. If you want to know whether I travel to you, the towns are listed here.
